You might be right but the man is almost unique in the English leagues of rebuilding from nothing and winning not since Clough and arguably Wenger have we had similar, deffo something this club needs.

He doesn't though. He plays shadow sides in cups even with wigan. If you see him as a cup manager, you'll be gravely disapointed.

why has no club of note shown any interest in Moyes ?
if he was as good as some people say other clubs would have fallen over their feet by now to secure his services -
if i was him i would have signed long ago for as long as possible - most cushy job in the PL - most unexpecting fans as well

I'd take Martinez over Moyes. His attitude to the game is more suited to cup competitions than Moyes IMO. We'd most likely finish lower in the league by a place or two here and there but I reckon we'd be up there for the domestics most years. I'm realistic enough to know that the absolute best we could hope for while the bum is running the show.

Its that little bit extra. As an example, he'd be the type of manager to throw a striker on to sow up a game. Moyes would throw on a defender to tighten it up.

In the cups, that's the thin line.
