How many season has Laudrup maanged in the EPL on a budget like ours?

I'm convinced Laudrup wouldn't come here.

And i'm unsure about Martinez. Would be interesting to see what he could do with a decent team, but it's a risk, and i'm not sure I can stand it if the risk didn't pay off with us.

Didn't we take a risk with moyes tho?

i understand we may not get that lucky twice in a row, at least martinez has top flight experience

seeing Moyes at the united game last night I got the feeling that he has already decided and agreed to join Man utd at the end of the season. Whenever Ferguson does eventually go he isnt going to give much advance notice....so i wouldnt be surprised if he announced his retirement in the summer with Moyes replacing him right away.

Ridiculous that people think Laudrup would come here. He just joined swansea and has promising start at PL with trophy coming in. Would be stupid to change team at this point. He will be Swanseas manager next season 100%.

Moyes would be terrible as United manager. He doesn't have the man management skills needed to deal with big ego players. Imagine playing away at Barcelona, 0-0 after an hour and he brings on Jonny Evans for Van Persie?

The fans would hound him out within a year. Next United manager will be a big name foreign coach.

Careful with that last bit. He would be my first choice as manager for Everton at this present time, but I agree it perhaps seems unlikely right now. But Chelsea will be looking for a manager in the Summer and it wouldn't surprise me if they made a move for Laudrup.

If Ferguson did go this summer, then it'd be the 'Special one' filling his seat. Moyes won't get a sniff of the United job.

It's all about timing like any manager appointment or at least fans thoughts will be , it doesn't make it right but people focus on the 'rising star' . I've said it before coyle was in the spurs short list (when they thought Harry might leave ) and was subject of a intent campaign backing him for arsenal but got relegated and now isn't on any list. Rodgers got the bullet from reading and wa struggling but has a half decent season with Swansea and gets the RS whilst lambert was really highly rated but has massively under performed at villa. So now it's lambert , then it might be malky McKay or whoever.

yeah...no doubt he was oficially on a scouting trip...but it just got me thinking...like why wouldnt he sign a new contract? its been proven over and over again that it affects the team when a managers future is uncertain..Harry at spurs last year being the prime example. so by not signing a new contract now and ending the speculation he is harming the teams chances of finishing 4th or winning the cup...why would he do that unless he had something else in the pipelin??!!
