Computer games.

Anyone seen the videos for the new Xbox?

Showing how impressive the load times are over the one X with pugb I think. And it's a lot faster , no question about that.

Still felt a little long though, nowhere near instant load times as they suggested

I'm old now and spent my younger days on the Megadrive, Snes. I bought a PS4 not so long back during what I think was a mini mid life crisis...I know its normally a motorbike or sports car but I like to live life on the edge.

I've bought GTA5 and RDR2 but I'm daunted by the size, complexity and number of controls of it all.

Are there any entry level games for old farts like me that don't require too much thought, skill or dexterity? Just to get me back into the swing of things.

No Pacman suggestions please as that just gave me anxiety!
The 'Telltale' games are very accessible. But they are more like interactive movies than games, if that's your kind of thing?

Enjoying it at the mo - seems v big so a lot of play time.
Just that soul memory / agape ring thing seems like it was a huge misstep for coop and pvp in general, but I guess the community has sorted out what works there.

I'm a big fan of all the DS games, 2 probably the easiest I'd say and the one I've completed the most times.

Started a game of FM19 but with fake players, all the squad is basically the lads we have but different names, however we have a 23year old German striker and I've no idea who he is meant to be?

I hated DS 2 in the beginning (especially some of the bosses that were ripped off from the first), but it definitely picked up as you get further in. It suffered from poor design in certain areas and a lack of originality, but some of those end game areas were just as strong if not stronger than the first.

Worth noting that the DS series has one of the most active modding communities around (if you're on PC) that address a lot of the known issues, especially with DS2

I've currently got a DS3 save that I keep diving into with the 'Cinders' mod installed. Great fun :D

Been playing that CoD:Warzone. Enjoying for the most part, but ended up on crappy squads or with no squad for some reason. At one point I kill 2 people with 3 secs only to be taken out by the third member of their squad as I have to reload.
Today they patched it and added solo battleground, same game just no squads. 150 players later...

Yup, just pwned some children. (actually judging by voices over mics the players are older than I was expecting)

Sony announcing a bunch of info about PS5 today at 4pm. Can watch here:

Doesn't sound like we will see the console or hear much about games but it will reveal what's under the hood
