Honestly have no idea how it would be with the Steam Controller......it is definitely a kb+m game, but I have 'heard' the steam controller handles kb+m better than the average controller.
 

Metro Exodus, you’re losing me. It’s not me. Its you. Its your clunky running style. It’s your constant reloading and running out of bullets. You’re living in a post apocolyptic future filled with enemies and the last thing on your list is having enough bullets so you run out after a couple of enemies every time. Its the bad graphics. Its the annoying characters. Its the silly plots and the changing filters and lights and having to recharge your batteries for crying out loud. Its the nonsensical boxes of scraps you pick up and the bad accents and the threat of an open world without the Open World.

I’ve not played it due to my FPS phobia. But heard that all the cool action sequences are cut scenes where you actually don’t do anything?

Is that right? Because that would really annoy me.

I’ve played through about 3 “levels” so far and I’d say my actual involvement was about 30%.

I know it’s post-apocalyptic so resources are sparse but like there are NO bullets anywhere.

I die a lot too (I’m crap).

Sounds about right. Theres a bit right at the beginning where you are set upon by a few of these creatures. No matter how you try you can’t kill them, until you realise you have to actually run away instead. Sums it up.

AAA games are becoming stale, repetitive graphic heavy loot shooters that the sole reason they have become a thing is through mobile gaming....free to play with easy upgrading through spending actual money...the fact that the actual game is free to play on a phone should send alarm bells ringing why anyone would spend £39.99 on a bare bones locked game on consoles....to then need to grind the fun out of it just to get to the end. metro exodus doesnt do that, you buy it you can play it, no grinding....its all there ...it might feel clunky on a ps4 controller but that's only because metro was always a PC game ported to consoles. The filters, scavenging for parts has always been part of the lore, you are surviving the apocalypse !!! It ain't supposed to be easy x

Wait, did someone just say Metro Exodus had bad graphics?

I can understand modern gamers not liking it if a game doesn't keep chucking them an endless supply of ammo and them getting confused if they're not having their hand held throughout the entire game - Metro is hardly one for the COD/Fifa brigade - but bad graphics? Its genuinely one of the most stunning games I've ever seen.

Unless they're on console, I guess.
