Computer games.

It just looks utterly incredible.

Yes, I wanna know more about the story and who you play as but I think you can make a few guesses.

Looks like a prequel to Redemption with Dutch's gang where you likely play as Bill Williamson or John - I'd hope John but I wouldn't be too bothered about playing as either. Really excited.

I hope it doesn't have john in it, more so as a character to play as! Think they needed to create a new story and bring the magic once again.

Calling it now, you will play as a few different characters ala GTA 5

wtf...no mention of a pc release ??? AGAIN !!! noooooooooo
They are doing that so they can sell it twice.

Console release, everyone buys (including impatient PC players)it so they can play it.

Then a year or so later, PC release, taking full advantage of the PC hardware's capabilities, releasing a far superior version. All the PC players buy it, And a significant portion of the PC players who bought it on console, buy it again on PC (2 million PC GTA V sales less than a month after it's launch).

Although I may be tempted to be one of those dumb people and get it on Xbox One when it arrives.

Steamspy showing 5.4 million sales on Steam, and then however many directly through Rockstar. (Interestingly, 1.5 mill active player on steam in the last two weeks, higher than I would have thought!)

It is that, what they will be targeting with RDR2. Get the 45 million console sales, then a year down the line, another 5 million PC sales.

I'm not even sure the majority aspire to even this, I think they just enjoy following their celebrity.

There's a youtuber/letsplayer i stumbled upon called Cryaotic, he doesn't show his face but has a reasonable speaking voice and humour. The weird thing is that almost every comment on his playthroughs reference him and his personality, rather than anything about the actual game he's playing. It's very affectionate.

It's like the youth are actively looking for role-models. Did we do this at the same age? Don't quite remember it being like that.
Yes.

Athletes for boys, generally.

I find Let's Play's weird, but accept I'm just old. This new generation of kids is an interesting one - the first that had easy access to the entire world at their fingertips from the moment they could walk.

The RDR2 fur density though.
