Computer games.

For me it's the character models and lip syncing so bad the Spice Girls would blush that lets the visuals down on the whole.

I think the world itself looks great, some of the vistas are stunning and they have really hit the nail with the weather effects and lighting. Wondering around in the fog with all the god-rays shining through looks awesome, not to mention the radiation storms!

Although, perhaps this is the basket in which they have thrown all their graphical eggs ;)

Still, this shows the new high standards that Witcher 3 has set for open world games!

Although, dodgy character models, horrendous AI and a monumental amount of glitches aside, it is a damn fun game :p

The thing with Witcher 3 is, they've done really well with the graphics but they've [Poor language removed] up immersion by having so many damn on screen status bars and notifications, confusing menus, fiddly controls. It really screams computer game. OK it's an RPG and thus it'll always have a fiddly side to it but I feel they've overdone it somewhat. A shame as the storytelling is good and I'm enjoying the sly wit of whoever wrote the damn thing.

I'm playing the Last of Us ( as I had an xbox last time not as ps4) for the first time and its emotional storytelling and the way it lets the player soak into the game is second to none. When I'm creeping through an abandoned hotel an listening for clickers...the suspense is killing me.
