Computer games.

I don't want it to look realistic, it just looks dated and a bit 'budget'.

Exactly what i got, a lazy sequel with the same flaws Fallout 3 had.

Glad you like it though.

Just to add, people playing fallout for eye candy are like people driving a car so they can listen to the radio.

Fallout is about the story and the gameplay. It's one of the last true role playing experiences. Whilst looking good is desirable, the focus users have on graphics over substance is what's led to most AAA games being beautiful but having the depth of a paddling pool.

Who said they are playing it purely for the graphics ? i got it for the overall experience but that doesn't mean i can't critic various areas of it.

If it makes you happy i can talk about how the actual gameplay isn't that great ? awful ai, poor gunplay, no major improvements on fallout 3 etc

Same goes for the story although to be fair i don't think there has ever been a game with a genuinely great story, they are only great by video game standards... which are ridiculously low.

Just taken receipt of my new gaming PC, which is currently downloading Rome 2 Total War.

This evening is going to be great. Forward men of the Julii, Gaul awaits!

i quiet like the graphics in fallout 4. But I do NOT like the combat-system. was much better in fallout 3. I do not like that the time only slows down in vats, and is not paused. Also its [Poor language removed] that I cant switch weapons with the wheel on the mouse.

The review in the Guardian criticised the combat system also.

I'm going to leave it a while before I think on buying, just to see what my mates who get in think on balance.

I've read it more like an action game rather then a pure role playing game

for all Half Life 1 fans, this is utter genius...Gordon Freeman's inner monologue while going through the entire game...68 episodes of them!
