Here's hoping this year changes that, but the past three seasons it's been claimed the same thing an not true.

Sadly, I think Pes 2017 has taken a severe, unlubricated bumming this year with regards to licenses.

No Bayern or Juve and most of the Spanish sides are missing. They're trying to sugar-coat it with the "exclusive" deals they have with a few teams, but Fifa can still use those teams so who gives a rats ar5e?

I know you can sort it with the option files, but your average gamer can't be arsed with that kind of tomfoolery.

I only play against humans on the current Pes so I have no idea how easy it is to score past the computer.

Season 20 of Score Hero is killing me. Not nearly as well programmed as the others. Too many guys running the wrong way or dribbling out of play or wandering miles offside.

Supposedly there is a new AI system this year. The last few years of FIFA have really bothered me because the way they even up things in career mode is to make your team play much worse, rather than the other team playing really well. Suddenly all your touches are too heavy, players stand around and don't show for passes, they don't close down attackers or ball react when a cross comes in, and you hit the woodwork a lot.

That is probably true yeah. It's the infants of a great ai that if they just took one year out to develop properly then it would revolutionise the football sim and blow pro evo out the water.

The theory of fifa I have is that all these changes are already there. They know how to develop the game but rather than do it all at once they drip it out over years, make each version slightly better than the last to make you buy them so ultimately fifa 21 is miles ahead of fifa 16 but everything they wanted to do with it has essentially been slowly added to the game.

The problem I have is that I play fifa all year, only game I go back to in all honesty. So I get suckered in like a sheep and buy it every year, and the worst part is I know I am. But I also know that the slightly better graphics or slightly different game mode is going to make me want to buy it.
 
So yeah... this Star Citizen game looks like the most ambitious game ever made, by some distance. Looks mind bogglingly deep. Huge budget as well, amazing graphics, persistent online world. I don't even care much for space games but this is just on another level to anything i've ever seen before.

There are some HUGE 'what ifs' in regard to Star Citizen. IF it is as they are claiming, it will be mega. IF it is ever released.

However, selling in game ships for up to and over $1000 of real money is just crazy.

Despite how it looks, the combat is very arcadey, in fact, No Man's Sky's combat is basically Star Citizen Lite.

The game to buy, if you want meaningful space combat is still Elite: Dangerous.

Works the same on Xbox. Only one person needs to have Xbox live for both you and your Xbox partner to play.
