Did you play it, or are you just assuming that's the case?

Because PES16 was the first game in a long, long time that was better than FIFA - and I usually tear PES apart. It was by common concensus the better game last year.

Obviously because of the Liverpool connection, all this is moot as I won't be buying PES this year, but it would be nice if FIFA upped their game for this release, as it has been pretty much identical for about four years now.

Proof of how damning I was about PES when it was actually awful.

The PES cycle starts again I see.

Might vault the posts from every thread from around 2012 onwards that has exactly the same pattern.

"Demo is boss!"

"Better than FIFA!"

Then of course the game is released and it's turbo-gash as usual.

It wasn't though really. I had both for a while. PES was fun for a bit but no footy game should be so easy to score on.
 
Absolutely delirious about how good FIFA looks. The frostbite engine will provide all kinds of new animations, physics and lighting to make the experience far more dramatic and fluid.

Really looking forward to this.

Footie games are much harder to make than NFL games and yet FIFA gets better almost every year while Madden has been stagnant since the PS3 era. Amazing what a little competetion can do.

Pretty much carbon copy of what I did this year.

I transferred all our targets last night and had a rip roaring time on FIFA!
