I'll temper the enthusiasm by reminding people that L.A. Noire was meant to be the most amazing game ever based on trailers before it was released, and that's from the same studio.

GTA games have been consistently good ever since the first one though, LA Noire was new territory. Regardless, LA Noire was an experiment and is still a very highly rated game and enjoyed by a lot of people. It's certainly not a bad game.

I know, but Final Fantasy 7 is in the same series as the epic awfulness that is Final Fantasy 13, so it's no guarantor of success.

I expect you're right though. I hope they bring back the Gouranga bonus for killing hippies in this one!

Have a look at Hotline Miami in that case.

It's ridiculously enjoyable.

And I'll keep saying it. Best soundtrack since Vice City.

Oh, and it's £7.

Vice City & San Andreas are boss though. Red Dead too.

FF7, 9, and X are among my favourite games ever. Why they've completely ruined the series is anyone's guess. Its a sodding MMO from now on I heard. Someone should make a new game like the old FF games, they would sell.

Yep. Leaks of it for the consoles are online already but the PC version still isn't. I've already bought the game on Steam for £26 but i don't want to wait ffs
