Computer games.

Excited for Civilization: Beyond Earth.

For those that haven't heard yet, it's like a spiritual successor to Alpha Centauri. Hard sci-fi stuff and the like.

But, it's much more open ended than past games. There won't be just one tech tree for you to follow and you won't be able to research every tech in the game. It's a technology "web" instead. Will lead to more diversity among civs in a single game.
I'm looking forward to it so much, not sure if I'll be able to get it upon release though.

Anno 2070 and Civilization V are good strategy games similar to Sim City. They can be complex but once you get into them they're fun - I've got both but only really played Civ, though I've watched Anno and can't wait to get into it after exams and stuff.

I saw Civilisation but wasn't too sure on it. I'll have a bit of a read, cheers.

Either way wait till the Steam Summer sale and you'll get games like Civ 5 Complete Edition which is usually £35 or like £10.

Civ 5 is gash. Supposed to build on Civ 4 but it overcomplicates one half of the content, oversimplifies the other half. If you don't care that much about the slightly-improved graphics of Civ 5, play Civ 4.

Haha, I'm glad.

Fitz is quite amazing, shame he doesn't do any vidyas anymore. Watch the FACADE one.

"No, I hate all women".

This man is a genius.

Editing this post right here: I've just watched all his videos and I haven't seen anything as funny in a very, very long time. You have brought me great joy in showing me his video and I am forever grateful.

Only because I've seen some of you guys mention it on here but there's a Humble Bundle sale on at the moment. There's a few on there including one of my favourites State of Decay for $15, which is an absolute bargain for what is an open world sandbox type zombie game. I'd re-download myself it if it was available for Mac.
