Brain says I should have waited for it to be about $10 but you can't fight nostalgia. now I just get to think about which game to play first, leaning toward Streets of Rage

Game recommendation

Mother russia bleeds.

Great little game if you get it on sale. It's basically a side scrolling beat em up, nothing complicated about it. But play it with a friend and it's great As the game gets harder and you have to figure out how to beat each boss. Most fun multiplayer I have had in a long time

No idea what it is, but i'm downloading it to give it a go now

Just a massive world war 1 and 2 plane online game but you can be tanks too.

I’m terrible at it but came 4th in a match earlier so might stick with it.

I don’t understand the menus at all though. Or the points thing and how you spend anything you earn.

But the planes look cool.

Sounds worth a crack - I'll undoubtedly be terrible at it if i'm competing with others online!

I did find this a bit weird coming after the last Call of Duty game.

They're risk averse. So play on the tried and tested, don't push the boat out, just upgrade, don't try anything new whatever you do.

Even the new CoD is chasing the Fortnite trend rather than be an actual trendsetter.

Wouldn't it have been proper fantastic if the new Call Of Duty was set in an alternate universe Victorian Steampunk era World War? Or if not that throwaway idea I thought of whilst typing, literally anything else that was interesting.

Im all for them doing a WW2 game, its what BF1 should have been. I mean what else was it going to be ? Another modern war game ? They haven't made a proper WW2 game in 15 years.

CODS attempt was a joke and their multiplayer is tragically bad compared to Battlefields.

I like the fortifications idea, being able to rebuild buildings, create your own cover anywhere on the battlefield... thats a fresh addition imo.

Free DLC as well !!

I did see some pics of the new COD and thought it looked a bit weird for a game like that.

Chasing the money I guess. And why not if people are gonna pay it.

Just a heads up - not suggesting play it first, but Gain Ground is a great little game that not many play/remember. Not a looker even for the 16 bit generation but very unique and compelling.
