Haven't properly read the thread so I don't know if anyone's mentioned BUT the single best upgrade you can make is your screen. Get a good monitor and thank me later.
??????????????????Okay, I tried it once more and as I pressed on my living room ceiling bulb popped and dropped out. Think I’ll go live in the woods instead where I can’t electrocute myself.
??????????????????
This is why you wont ever see me build a PC.
My GPU finally showed up today, connected it, did my best with the cable management, closed to the case, plugged into a power source anddd didn’t work.
When I flick the power switch on the back of the case a little light comes on the GPU so I know there’s power at least to there. However when I press the case on/off button everything flashes on, then red (fans, MOBO etc.) for a second without noise.
Anyone have any ideas? I’m scared to try it again in case I fry something.
Tried to video it but can’t attach a video here so screenshot the video.
Before I switch it on showing GPU light:

Just as I press the on button:

Two power buttons?
Whats the one on the back you speak off?
Sorry not up to speed with the more modern gaming towers but surely there is only one power button
Is the PSU whirring at all even briefly?
Ps4 for life.??????????????????

Ah ok makes sense i guess if its powerful. Some PSU’s have a little on/off switch themselves, then the case has its on/off switch. No real noise from anything. Shame I can’t add the video to show.
Tomorrow night I’m going to take the case apart and triple check everything is plugged in fully. Something might have come out of place when trying to shove cables into case space to get the back plate on.
Also this good suggestionstake out the GPU, use the motherboard dvi-d port for monitor connection and see if that makes a difference
ignore cable management for the moment, make sure all power cables are connected to the motherboard correctly, use the motherboard manual to double check they are all connected in the right places and that they are secure
