Neiler, I'm getting infracted for posting what I did in post #33 in this thread? Are you sure? You do realise what the commonly used word for a political nationalist is dont you? I mean you're not infracting me for stating the obvious are you?

Unbelievable.

No i think Cal just went a little bit crazy, i dont think he wanted to get banned, he just had a mental breakdown. I think it would be fair to let him serve his week ban and then see how he is on his return. But its your house and your rules.

I think he should be brought back for this comment alone:

**** off Hitler.

Really tickled me for some reason

Those c words and t words are uttered in every sentence by the majority of, usually male but not exclusively so, persons frequenting the LGS.
It's not very nice to be honest and they're not words I ever use but I choose to sit there and accept that that is what the language is like.
Most times it's not even in the heat of the moment but just forms part of general chat and discussion, when I was a teenager, the f word was only used by the roughest lads in the village but now even I use it far too frequently (trying to give up swearing for Lent though).

I wholeheartedly agree with your stance Danny but those words are as common as blast and damn or bloody hell were when I was young.
Anyway, you're the boss so I won't be swearing on here at least!

Still can't swear in front of my mother though.

Why do we have the swear filter on here?

Is it just personal choice of the owners of the forum or is there some other reason, like wanting to promote this place as family friendly?

I understand banning abusive swearing towards people but it seems a bit odd you can say **** what an awful miss but you cant say **** what an awful miss. If you know what i mean. Everyone knows what the censored word is.

Anyway, just asking :D

And i still think you should have it set so certain words get censored in to others. Liek when someone types Kenwright it gets turned in to "the savior of EFC" or when someone types Manuel Fernandes it becomes "the greatest player we never signed permanantly". Really livens up the forum i reckon.

That only works when it's funny, the examples you've given are crap & would just annoy people by potentially completely changing the meaning of someones posts
