Neiler, I'm getting infracted for posting what I did in post #33 in this thread? Are you sure? You do realise what the commonly used word for a political nationalist is dont you? I mean you're not infracting me for stating the obvious are you?

It all seems slightly harsh, nobody is doubting that he crossed the line that night, he did go out of his way to get banned, but he did only want a small suspension. He offered a lot to this forum i feel and others agree with me. I understand its your house and your rules, but surely everybody deserves a 2nd chance. I know he had a lot of chances, but i feel he should be given a chance to return after his ban.

If everybody was the same and we all had the same view and posting style this would be 1 boring forum, but its not, its a forum full of interesting and sometimes intelligent views. None of us want it to be like kipper, but then again none of us want it to become stale and boring.

I would hope you might consider a re-think, but i feel im wasting my time. But as said earlier your house, your rules.

The length of suspension he wanted is irrelevant.

I dont like banning people, particularly a member who joined here the same day I did, and one with 6,000+ posts and an ex moderator.

But plenty have PM'ed me saying its about time. You may have noticed one or two members have began posting more often....

As you said, He had "a lot of chances". On 5 infractions he received loads of warnings to prevent the 6th causing a banning. It was frustrating after he revealed he was seeking to be banned, you know... after bending over backwards to not ban him.

danny is coming in for a bit of unfair criticism here, he does this off his own bat at his own expense.
it drives me mad when my laptop takes ages to start up, imagine every time you log on having to deal with complaint after complaint about the same person when all you wanted to do was have a quick peek at the fit birds thread and slacken your nuts off.
not sayin' he wont have had any complaints about some of the stuff i have posted as well, but then he's never "had a quiet word" so to speak.

I am not critising anybody, i was merely putting a case forward. Ive said in all posts that it was totally called for. I was just asking for a 484848th chance for the lad. I respect the work D/D do and all the moderating team.

Will miss Cal, liked him and thought he was a good poster on here. To be fair to D/D and the rest of the moderating team though, the rules on here are pretty clear. Think they are doing a good job in keeping this forum a great place to be.

Been a bit busy the last few days so have missed the "fun". Cal being banned is sad day. He's a great lad and very funny. But if he's been taking the pish, and I am sure that he has, it's his funeral. I'll miss him but he brought it on himself. Perhaps in a few weeks he'll be back and everyone can be mates again. Like I said, he really is a funny bloke (in a nice way).

Love you Cal, but you pushed the man too far.
