Clapping Opposition Goalkeeper

I've never known a game where we haven't clapped the opposition keeper in.... Not read/heard any reports that they've claimed it as their own thing, but I'm not at all surprised.

I think the OP said it was a sycophantic commentator on BT who went all gooey about it....not the RS themselves.

Though if they did claim the credit for starting the practice it would not surprise me one wee bit

After coming across a video of that blurt on ITV/BT getting all excited at Liverpool clapping Iker Casillas last night I wanted to know who did it first us or them?

We all know they like to think they invented most things such as singing on the terraces, Trabs, Adidas, and they’re greatest achievement, going the pub with their mates for a pint.

So who did it first lads.

They were clapping him because he wasn't black.

Kopite in walk a few months ago was acting like they was the only team ever to do this. He looked furious when I told him we donit too.

Morons the lot of them

It was because it was his last game or something.

I’d rather break the keepers arms to give us a chance at scoring , then. Again we don’t even hit the target

Casillas didn't post his arl fellas Spanish footy pools coupon once as a kid.
His dad got all 15 games correct.
And Iker spent the entry money himself.

No wonder he's done so well since, he's still paying it back I reckon.
