Ah those pubs are two minutes from where I work! So gutted I couldn't get a ticket for this one, typical that I give up my season ticket this year.

Will be watching in Manchester with a city, Newcastle, Arsenal and maybe a Chelsea fan!

Not sure where yet, maybe bierkeller?
I think tickets are on gen sale at emptyhad?

One of best pubs in the country, Briton's Protection, is right by Deansgate tram stop where you can catch tram straight through to ground in fifteen minutes.
Probably not really what you asking for but just thought I'd plug it anyway.

Used to be a frequent haunt for me. Love my Ale also English Lounge was a good crack :pint2:

.......not sure where to post this but 4 put of the 5 footy pundits in the Racing Post predict an Everton v Liverpool final. The other is 'confident' City will beat us and play the Pool at Wembley. Nobody selects Stoke.

For anyone on public transport and worried about making the train and/or keeping it cheap, just got two adults on the 11:30pm National Express coach to Liverpool ONE for £2 each + booking fee of £1.

After reading this I've decided to stay clear of the ground and drink in town, guess the next question is where?
Try 'The Crafty Pig' or 'Dive', both are at the Piccadilly Gardens end of Oldham Street meaning they're only 5 minutes from the train station and you can easily get a tram to the Etihad from either Piccadilly Gardens or Market Street tram stops.

Spot on, do not drink in the pubs near the ground, they're full of neanderthals !!!
I wouldn't drink in the Spoons near Piccadilly Gardens it's rough on a normal day but on a match day the footy bus leaves from opposite there so the knob head factor goes up even more.
