Even though Moyes is still manager until seasons end, it would seem odd for the club to bring in new players that the new manager may or may not fancy.

If Moyes thinks he'd be a good addition then he would open talks. The new manager can come in and just say no if he doesn't agree. Just because we've opened talks doesn't mean we have to actually sign him.

I believe it is us that has made the bid.
