Smalling WAS a really good defender a couple/few years back. Hasn't been great of late (injuries catching up?), but with VAR he would get a penalty a game. Grabbing jerseys is literally his only method of defending corners.

It is but It not so much as it seems. Smalling has lost the fan base over there. Stunk it up on a few occasions that I saw last year.
