Well, I'll put on my armour and state loud and publicly that i think Smalling is a very good defender.....
Not what we ideally want, or long-term, but a 7/10 signing for me that would slip into most top-6 teams as a serious contender for a starting place.....

Either Zouma nails down place for Lampard, or he won't. Either way we have some form of closure. We could do with a bit more depth at centre back. I don't mind who it is, as long as it's a loan really and we aren't committed longer term.
