I notice that Brentford are not one of the clubs in for him.

I don't want to be seen as critical of Chris Long and I think he is doing the right thing by going someplace where he has a better chance of playing every week.

My point was that we cannot keep every youngster coming through the academy and to say that he should be ahead of a player like Kone really makes no sense...at the moment.

Kone is that bad though.

I get the impression he is stalling on signing a contract to way up his options rather than having rejected one, he's still listed on the OS in the under 21's squad.

Fairly sure I read he'd left mate. Didn't want to be 4th choice.

Since he hasn't signed a new contract, I guess he is now out of contract with us (thus not playing) but anyone signing him has to pay us compensation.

I wish him well.
He is at an age where he needs to play every week. I hope he does well and Everton have some caveats in the contract that will give us some extra funds in the future if he proves a big success.

LONG has gone seeing that deadbeat ahead of him!

i think he'll find his place with Burnley, who knows, in a few seasons time he could be ready for the premiership. Hope he makes a good go of it

So do I if I was a young no 9 behind the Kone I would want out!
Kone looks finshed too me two seasons of injury , and inept performances hearts were so bad , and he could not score!
