Yes that's why it's a forum fans put their views across , if you want to defend your point try not to be too scientific about it!
 
I will defend everybodys right to express their opinons to the very end...no matter how little sense they make.

Yes but Chris long is better than kone is the point most people are making. Martinez should just grow a pair and admit he has been wrong about kone and sell him.

You don't need to be a football manager have a UEFA coaching badge or other expertise to see that arouna kone should not be anywhere near our first team squad. I and many other fans see it with our own eyes. We don't need the aforementioned qualifications.

i didn't speak to him myself mate, so not really.

Can only assume it was something about us offering him more of a chance than we actually did, think he was told he'd be fourth choice (if he stayed) and at his age he didn't really want to be, after previously being told he had more of a chance.

That's the point I am trying to get to. How do we know that Long is better than Kone. We can see Kone doesn't know where the net is but how many games in the PL has Long played in and how did he do. I know Kone isn't the answer but it sounds like we have let a gem go. Maybe Kone and Long are not good enough.

oh well, thanks for the information. I'm gutted to be honest, the lad did well in the championship and if we don't give him a chance to prove himself then what's the point. Kone looks like he's just past it, not his fault like after a potentially career ending injury.
 
Only seen Long play about 6-7 games but from what I saw, he's no better than Kone. Wish him all the best but won't be shedding any tears.
