Indeed. The refs are basically poorly programmed robots. There is no common sense amongst them.
Correct. They rigidly attempt to stick to the letter of the law or guidances they’ve been instructed to by PGMOL higher-ups (who were all crap refs as well).

If they don’t stay in line with how they’ve been told to make decisions and make any kind of error, they know they’re never going to be considered for the big/high profile games or cup finals. And that’s what all they strive for. To get the big games, rub shoulders with the elite players. Toe the company line.

Michael Keane has been at Everton for 9 years and most of you like me have seen almost every minute of that time. From the good performances to the absolute rank ones. Not once have I seen anything to suggest he has got the type of snide in him to do this on purpose, in fact the opposite he has been too meek and naive, Moyes has made a heck of a difference for him. Even if he was a Romero type, the move we're talking about is very complicated whilst in an aerial challenge.

Also, it is not a red card offence even if he did mean it. There is not enough force behind it at all. VVD smashing people in the head with his shoulder that is violent conduct and dangerous play. Not a little accidental hair pull.

Again this totally exposes the quality of the officials, Moyes is correct its an absolute embarrassment. Kavanagh sold his young colleague down the river, he should be held to account.
