The other lots equaliser at Fulham that was a yard offside - even spit the dog on Sky stated it was - the human eye could see that is was yet VAR drew an impossible line on an angle to show he was level ?It's the rules that are the problem. They are deliberately obtuse/open to interpretation so that the money men can increase their orofits by making sure that the big teams (worldwide) win.
There's no common sense used by the ref. May have been a silly thing to do but there was nothing dangerous or violent. For me the problem is the referees who make the final decision. Unlike rugby there is no joint discussion where the referee gives his view from an on -pitch perspective ie what he saw and interpreted in real time, not with this slow motion malarkey. He undoubtedly grabbed his hair, was it done to gain a competitive advantage or just in the action of making a challenge , if the first then a foul. Then was he committing dangerous play with the intent of injuring his opponent? Yes red card , no maybe yellow.
I personally felt it was a completely different frame used for the 'onside' call. The image without the AI generated thing was 110% offsideThe other lots equaliser at Fulham that was a yard offside - even spit the dog on Sky stated it was - the human eye could see that is was yet VAR drew an impossible line on an angle to show he was level ?
Marco Silva has put an official complaint in - yes it does favour the top teams - the pen Newcastle got last night in injury time a hand ball was ridiculous - then they added more time so they could sneak an underserved winner....

Yeah who knew about the 5 metre tolerance for offside when Liverpool are playing.Wirtz goal against Fulham for example
Wait, when the [Poor language removed] did they change this rule?? We've seen goals ruled offside by millimeters, you're telling me now they're letting the refs be subjective???Wirtz goal against Fulham for example
Keep up! They’re now allowing a 5cm tolerance allowance in drawling the lines at a 180 degree angle.Wait, when the [Poor language removed] did they change this rule?? We've seen goals ruled offside by millimeters, you're telling me now they're letting the refs be subjective???
