To be honest if he was on a low wage I'd not be arsed.

I'm more worried about blowing the rest of our transfer budget on the Scottish Xavi.

I hope we choose to spend our wage budget on M'Baye Niang instead of throwing good money after a player who is more injured than Saha . Let QPR sign Owen on a 75K a week contract , he'll fit in well there among their other overpaid flops.

Why in the name of christ would we need Owen except as squad filler? In which case he wouldn't be interested for money reasons. Surely this can't happen?

We need a replacement striker, someone other than Vellios to come on and grab a goal - who better than Owen

I don't think Moyes will allow him to use up a large amount of wages.

Completely agree, thats why if the deal went ahead it would be on Evertons terms - and therefore a good signing. Probaby won't happen though

Yeah. I mean, I don't know how realistic it is for Everton to go into the season with Jelavic and a bunch of unprovens.

I also don't think this is an Owen vs Niang thing. You don't pass on Niang because you sign Owen, that doesn't make any sense given their ages.
