My point is there will be a scapegoat and the easy option was to put Cleverley as the easiest option, you posted the big photo of him which indicates I was right to single him out.

As for the man crush....at a loss for words at the stupidity of it

A scapegoat would be if it is undeserved criticism to excuse others.

With Cleverley, it just isn't. People are still criticising other players, but the problem with Cleverley is that this is now the expected level from him. He's legitimately terrible, not just irrationally scapegoated.

I doubt anything will ever top that night at Anfield last season. I know it only ended up being 4-0 but that game literally could have been about 20 something-nil, the only reason it wasn't is because they took pity on us. The ultimate humiliation.

Just be thankful you never saw the Glenn Keeley derby at home......

Bad day at the office which happens but for too many defeat does not seem painful enough.

Other than perhaps the 7-0 to Arsenal (and last year at Anfield) I can't think of an Everton match where I can not pick out a single positive, either performance or moment.
