Think the reality is that we are a bang average side atm with some players who come good in certain matches. Think we've been massively over rated and have come to expect too much from what we actually have.

If given the chance and you were the manager of Everton and Moshiri came along and said "here's 200 million for players over 2 windows", which of our current starting 11 would you genuinely not replace? I know it's hypothetical but it's something to think about, for me maybe one or two of our current would make the starting 11 and I'm not taking about replacing them with Messi's and Ronaldo's either.

Not that I'm excusing or rating him in anyway but I don't think Martinez was too far off where the team he had shouldve been sitting, maybe 7th at push but definitely between 8th and 10th. However I do believe Gueye, Stekelenburg, Williams and Bolasie have improved us somewhat and should help us reach between 6th to 8th, which in turn should help us attract better quality players in the summer, hopefully.

Bad result tonight for sure, think it could take a few more of these results to sort the issues out and offload the crap.

Is it safe to pop in yet?

Is it safe to come out yet might be a more appropriate question (n) it was horrific

If we Evertonians had been as impatient and as petulant in the early 1980s as we are today, Howard Kendall would have been shown the door before he could win anything at all. We didn't once finish in the top 6 during Kendall's first three seasons as manager.

Rebuilding squads takes time. It took Martinez several years to turn us into a bottom half side; it could take Ronald even longer than that to make us great again. We will get there eventually, though. Our new manager is a proven winner.

Keep the faith.

So let's say you have 11 cars.

10 of them - BMW's, Mercedes', Audi's - next to top models, you paid a lot of money for them.
The last, eleventh one, is a Trabant.

Of course I'll call the hilariously bad Cleverley what he is - a criminal against football. Has been in every game he's played in. That doesn't make him a scapegoat, it just makes him a really, really, REALLY bad footballer.

I made that assertion because it was you who suggested he's some kind of saint and doesn't deserve to be called bad for some reason, but honestly mate, wake up, he's never been a good footballer. At best he was average, on his good days, the 5 good games he's had in his entire pitiful career, up until he joined us and we started giving him starts for literally no reason, as a piece of soggy bread has more footballing ability than him. Fairly sure there are treestumps with more mobility than him.

As for this game - literally everyone except Lennon and Davies were absolute crap and deserve a month's wages off, just for this abysmal showing.

Show me were I said he was a saint

End of the day still only 3 points lost if you get beat1-0 or 5-0.. result been coming a while and hopefully shows exactly to koeman whos not good enough..

Other than that im struggling here for a positive
