Bad day at the office which happens but for too many defeat does not seem painful enough.

Other than perhaps the 7-0 to Arsenal (and last year at Anfield) I can't think of an Everton match where I can not pick out a single positive, either performance or moment.

Davies was thrown in and was fine, kept the ball ticking over and made some tackles.

The one positive I can pick out of that is that Jagielka, Stekelenburg, Mirallas and Barry have finally been found out.

We are a premier lg team not a non league team glad to share a pitch with are betters, Don't ever excuse that gutless performance with just getting beat by the better team.
I will accept getting beat by a better team, that's the way it goes sometime. but giving up, not putting a tackle in , will not have that never have and never will.

Honestly you would see league 2 sides go there in the cup and give a better showing

We as a fan base looked like massive whoppers this summer with the "We're back" crap all over social media

Fact is we have a manager who has flopped in a vast majority of his jobs and a squad we overrate
