Before he was injured, he was brilliant. Easily one of the top CB's, just about anywhere. Since he's come back, he's been a bit average. Still good by anyones standards, just not up to the heady heights he hit before.
If you're talking about him directly, I agree, but even when he himself is having a bad game, his organisation and communication is incredible. We're a proper defensive unit when he's playing. Even Cappello was going on about how he's a natural leader, and for an England manager to say something about an Everton player -- something positive, too -- is nearly unheard of
