Player Valuation: £35m
Not seen enough of him yet. Looks good though, time will tell.
Of course.Too early to say.
Yeah would be good but he wont be starting yet. That been said, we've all seen more than enough from Doucoure to know that virtually anybody starting over him would be a major upgrade. In for Doucoure in the starting XI immediately
Whopping free kick attempt, forgot players can actually kick them with force
Doucoure damages us in so many ways, his inability to retain the ball or to pass it to a team mate, no matter how close they may be to him is the single biggest threat to us getting anything in a game. He effectively acts as the 12th man for our opponents. I appreciate that managers see lots that we do not. But how they cannot see that this man is a millstone, despite any perceived workrate, utterly baffles me.Yeah would be good but he wont be starting yet. When Charly came on and made some forward passes, I thought "if that was doucoure, he'd either play it backwards or give it away". Looking forward to seeing our attacking play improve with Alcaraz as a playmaking 10and his first thoughts about passing are always backwards, he stalls so many progressions up the pitch
Even if it forces Doucouré to consider his position in the XI due to competition, that's a positive in itself. There has been no challenge for his place for far too long.In for Doucoure in the starting XI immediately

…good cameo, players can demonstrate they have quality in the briefest of appearances. I actually liked the little cushioned lay-off to Iroegbunam setting him up for a shot at goal just inside the box.
It doesn’t take much to determine a footballer has quality.
mental alacrity and vision.I thought when he had the ball he played with a mental quickness and a physical tempo we don't have in the team.
mental alacrity and vision.
The bit I've seen he looks like a jack in the box, ready like a coiled spring to dart about quickly. Get him and Ndiaye on the same wavelength and we'll get our share of decisions eventually.
What was the stat when he was here, Pienaar was the most fouled player in the league? Let's get a wicked strong left footer in LB and watch this side down a few of the rest of the league.
