We might not and probably won't win the league but if we can keep the feel good factor going then a good season should be had, best since 13/14 anyway but this time a man who knows what he is doing.

Been a while since everyone has been buzzing this long into the season.

I think we are relying on Allan and Douc having a big big pair of performances on Sunday in the absence of James/Rich. If they can sustain 90 mins of cover of the line behind them - one of whom is a novice - then we still have the foundations for a solid and tight display. We will need this with Ings.

Assuming Godfrey starts RB then his forward runs last week offer some hope for advanced movement and some service for DCL. Am hoping Carlo starts Siggy rather than Gomes (who stunk out the derby) as we have also lost our dead-ball / corner threat in the absence of James. A draw looks the most likely outcome however this is a challenge for Carlo and his staff to coax an unexpected 8 out of 10 performance and perhaps a goal/assist out of an Iwobi or a Bernard.

If we are to push for the very top positions, this is a fixture that the RS/City would win without question. That's the bar now.

Doubt the rs would win, they go through the whole season with no injuries, then as soon as they have two players injured alisson and mane, they lose 7-2 to aston villa. City, I'd give you, even though they themselves have a tendancy to lose such games.

But yeah, it's a big test for us, I'd agree with setting up as you say.
