To be honest i'm annoyed BK has resorted to making a statement at all. I've always found actions speak louder than words, he needs to start giving moyes what he deserves in terms of transfer targets and not react to rumours and over anxious fans.

I take it you havnt been seeing the ammount of people on here saying.

"FFS !!!!!! I W1sh the club would just say something... the slience is deafening" and the like.

Im not a great Kenwright fan but it seems that he cant do right for doing wrong. If thats the case then any criticism of him is immediately got to be called into question, because there seems to be so much personal hatred of him, as oppose to rationally looking at what is actually going on.

I think you missed my point Matt, i have read and fully understand a lot of posts on here and other forums, however i think there would have been a better way of appeasing fans frustations other than making a kneejerk statement on the os, surely making a couple of new signings or announcing moyes has signed a new contract would have been a much more positive way of going about it. That is just my opinion however.

If you have seen all the forums then you would see that people have been tracking down his PA and other such things. People wanted to hear something, then when they did they bitch and moan. Nothing in that statement says we wont sign players. Infact it says the exact opposite.

Im not asking for blind faith because that causes problems (from both sides) but as a fanbase (maybe not individualy) we have been screaming out for something from the club in the last week or so. When it comes we by and large just carry on our attacks on the people. I dont doubt there are some well thought out valid criticism, but as i said before, when people are shouting at everything no matter what, its much harder to hear the valid stuff. A

Also i doubt it was "kneejerk". Im sure Kenwright has been drafting something like this since Wyness decided to walk.

And who knows... we might even sign some players...

Yea i agree, they should keep us in the dark and let us worry ourself sick. I like it when our Chairman says nothing and the lack of players coming in fills me with glee. Im so happy i paid my £450 season ticket price and hope that every summer is filled with this lack of information.

Also i will be hoping that other team from Merseyside has a very good season and Torres and Gerrard dont have any career threatening injurys.

I think we should change our nick name to the mushrooms
