Morton 0-2 Queen of the South.

Another poor performance from the whole team, we even managed to put a penalty about 10 feet over the bar.

I'm starting to worry about how many goals Celtic will put past our sorry defence on Tuesday in the League Cup.

Managers jacket must surely be on a shoogly peg now.

Ach! well, if we're losing badly on Tuesday, I'll just head into Glasgow for a wee refreshment.

Well in Central mate

Thanks guys. Just home from Celtic Park, needless to say I'm F'kin hoarse. Fantastic result and performance from everyone tonight, especially Nico Caraux, our goalkeeper. You don't get many of those results and I think we haven't won at Celtic Park since we beat them 4-2 in 1969. :D

Currently celebrating with a Stella or two.

For our achievement of beating Celtic on Tuesday night, we have been rewarded with a home tie against St. Johnstone in the League Cup Quarter-Final.

Given that we are the only team left in the cup from outside the top Division, this is possibly the tie which would give us the best chance of getting to the Semi-Final, though that will still be a tall order.

On a sadder note, after basking in the glory of beating Celtic, manager Allan Moore was told of his brothers death at the age of 53, while on holiday in Turkey. Thoughts are with his family.

Sad news, from massive high to massive low. Reminds me of Kelly at Killie after the cup final a few years ago.

RIP

Well!, back to earth with a bump today. Went 1-0 up against pre-season title favourites Dundee and it stayed like that until HT, but two goals from our former striker Peter (Peaso) McDonald and one from ex-Scotland striker Craig Beattie in the 2nd half, gave Dundee a deserved victory.

Bottom of the league tonight, not panicking yet, but we need to get some league wins...and soon.

Another week, same old ****e!

Morton 0 v 2 Alloa.

Toothless and inept display against one of the part-time teams in the league. On todays performance it would be hard to tell which team was full-time and which was part-time and to be perfectly honest, if it wasn't for our French keeper Nico Caraux, it would have been an even more emphatic win for Alloa.

Still rooted to the foot of the table, but the manager will keep his job for the time being due to his personal circumstances.

Top of the table Hamilton next week...cannae wait.:dodgy:
