My source has heard on the grapevine that its a ruptured ACL - 6-9 months out if so.

Stuck with the Big Galoot until his contract runs out more than likely as he'll take another year or so to get back to the level where other teams would actually be willing to sign him.

That's not how it works with that sort of injury though, his injury will have been assessed straight away due to the serious nature of it and it maybe needing surgery. Also the only reason he is back with us is due to a clause that if he got a long term injury he would return to GP. If it's all hearsay and gossip, it's a bit odd the way a bunch of randoms managed to predict his injury if the xray was only done at GP?

I remember when we signed Richarlison, and Allardyce piped up with the comment that he wasn't the signing us fans and the club want to see. We want Walcotts and Cenk's who are ready now.

Not his fault he's injured, just really annoying because it looked likely Palace would take him off our hands permanently. Brands will no doubt will be banging his head on the wall. He'll go out again next January, Ancelotti surely won't ever want to use him.
