Confirmed Signing Cenk Tosun

You guys should consider Cenk had played 3 years at a team which played offensively both in Turkish League and Champions League. For most of time, Besiktas had played as 4-2-4 or 4-1-3-1-1 (with only one DM).

So it will take some time to adjust this kind of play. But to be honest, I would like to see Everton play like:

Pickford;
Kenny, Holgate, Jagielka, Martina;
McCarthy;
Lennon, Sigurdsson, Lookman;
Tosun, Niasse

we are not here to fıght with Everton Fans.we are here to support
If Everton win this game we will very happy for this.(doesnt matter Cenk score or not)

we gain nothing.I tell what ı see
there is no short pass.GK kıcks always long ball(I m talking about this game)

About Cenk
he is new at PL.yea we know.But we know he is good at workıng.He need time.

if this game continues ,he cant score.

also your team ages ıs too low.(really ı dont know about your team, thıs is the first time ı watch your team 90mın)
they are making too many mistakes

Yes, that's exactly what we will do because we are just stupid Turks.

I can talk in football terms but you just don't deserve a better answer than that. From the first day we are talking about Cenk you are just making fun of Cenk, Turks, Turkish football, Turkish fans, etc. But i was thinking that you would wait a bit before criticizing him, even if it's not a surprise that you didn't. However criticizing him in a 4-0 game when he touched the ball 4-5 times in his own field is just not objective.

Now, there are 2 options. Either you really think that the problem of your team is the striker (so you just don't know anything about football) or you have problem with Turks.

So, in both cases I will just ask you not to reply to my posts. You think whatever you want but just leave me alone because I'm here with all my postive thoughts.

Until i watch today's game I didn't understand why you always say "hoofball". Now i get it.

Guys I'm glad you see our flaws too. Worryingly our £6 million per year manager can't.. .

We would be slaughtered. Doesn't matter what team we put out, we're crap. We'll survive relegation because most of the other teams in this league are crap but it's going to be a long 5 months.

Good thought but lost credibility by including Lennon and Martina

Well, to my knowledge, Martina is the best option for left back if Everton doesnt buy a player for that position, isn’t it? (Since Baines is injured)

And I wasnt sure about Lennon but who to play at right wing then?

Come on mate, what is the worst possibility, being beaten 0-6 instead of 0-4 or so?

He was ok in his first 60 minutes in PL and needs time to adapt obviously. The lack of support for him from midfield and the wings was clear as day and you have to give him the benefit of the doubt. The midfield line was so deep so he was isolated up front at times but had a good link up play with Rooney and Sigurdsson. And Cenk's English looks quite good so that's a bonus in communication with his teammates too.

The likes of Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund also lost at Wembley against Tottenham this season(both 3-1 i think) so it's not a great shame to lose to them away but Big Sam needs to adress his midfield's deficiencies to get a good balance tactically and support his forward line so we can get a clearer picture of Cenk's ability to make his contribution. A winger or two in this window would also help as Siggy is more of a no 10 and Bolasie is useless.

The blindfold defending from Turkish fans is appalling though :rolleyes: Cenk is a player who never played at the top level before and only time will tell if he is good enough or not.Big Sam knows that and that's why he said this transfer is not a guaranteed success but a gamble.Let's hope he will be a big hit as he looks a decent guy.

No disrespect mate as you know a lot more about Cenk than me but the issue is he’s coming from a team which is consistently one of the best in their domestic league and who I’m imagining play much more attacking football than we do. He’s used to playing in a team on the front foot, maybe a little less so in the champions league, but we’re still miles away from that. It’s going to take him sometime to adjust to us no doubt, so he’s got a free pass for me for a while. If we set up as you say we’d get beat quite a lot- although we might manage a shot on target so there’s always that.
