I am not trying to say that. But he never said anything but he is going to London for a holiday. Of course we all know he is there to negotiate with EFC but thinking this means 'he definitely wants to leave' is not very accurate.

Just stop it. Bookies are giving 100 to 1 odds for us being relegated, and I reckon that's about right. I'm repeating myself, but I'll say it again anyway: in order for us to be relegated, we would have to be worse -- *way* worse, in some cases -- then every team below us bar the bottom two. In other words, we would have to be so bad that Stoke, Bournemouth, West Ham, Palace and Newcastle would *all* have to be 6+ points better than us. Those are teams that are all averaging 1 point per match, or worse. It's thinkable that one or two, maybe even three of those teams could pass us, but Stoke is as close to us as we are to Europe! We could probably end as low as 15th, but to go as low as 18th we would need to have a collapse of historic proportions. The team is not good, but it's not *that* bad.

We are merely pointing out that it takes a certain kind of complacency for any of our fans to dismiss the notion we cannot possibly be dragged back into the mix in such cavalier fashion and with such certainty.

Believe me neither Cenk nor anyone else in the club will be unhappy if he stays. If that happens then he will wait for the right time that's all. He knows himself and maybe he can do better than EFC in the summer. He wants EFC that's for sure, but don't ever think he's desperate.

I've been banging the drum about this for weeks but I'll have another go. We're not talking about 'perceived' shortcomings here, we're talking about actual shortcomings. There is a league table which allows us to measure our performance against that of other teams. That table suggests that there have been 11 teams worse than us over the course of the season, and even over the Christmas period you mention, there have been 7 teams with worse form.

A week ago you were calling fellow fans all sorts for not believing Sam Allardyce was the messiah and now you're telling people that they're mad for not believing we're going to get relegated. I can't keep up.[/QUOTE]

reading the full quote it does look like the deal is still on. It's just boring that every transfer seems to be dragged out.
