No, I think he will agree to sth. between £25M to £28M but the payment should not be in mid or long term installments. Club needs the money asap.
This is Everton we're talking about mate, we will want to pay in instalments of €100 a month!

he'll leave with Barkley and probably come back with a Nokia 5210, a Pony and 5 magic beans.

Are you trying to say that he hasnt looked like he is tryin to leave. At all?
Looks like it will happen to me. Imagine we will cave in and agree to just under £30m or pay £25m ish up front with the rest in add ons.
Probably been mentioned already, but what's his scoring record been like in European Competition? Just saw he got an assist against Porto but diddn't score against them or Leipzig.
5 goals in 12 CL games across two seasons... including the goal of the group stages this season.
6 goals in 16 EL games across three seasons
Just stop it. Bookies are giving 100 to 1 odds for us being relegated, and I reckon that's about right. I'm repeating myself, but I'll say it again anyway: in order for us to be relegated, we would have to be worse -- *way* worse, in some cases -- then every team below us bar the bottom two. In other words, we would have to be so bad that Stoke, Bournemouth, West Ham, Palace and Newcastle would *all* have to be 6+ points better than us. Those are teams that are all averaging 1 point per match, or worse. It's thinkable that one or two, maybe even three of those teams could pass us, but Stoke is as close to us as we are to Europe! We could probably end as low as 15th, but to go as low as 18th we would need to have a collapse of historic proportions. The team is not good, but it's not *that* bad.
If I was involved in everton id walk away now. And leave Besiktas with a player who thought he was gettin a move to the Premier league only for a chairman to act the bell.I am not trying to say that. But he never said anything but he is going to London for a holiday. Of course we all know he is there to negotiate with EFC but thinking this means 'he definitely wants to leave' is not very accurate.
Absolutely everyone in the league knows how we are going to play, it would be naive to think we can’t get dragged back down into itHow "bad" do we need to be?
Two points from the last four games, two of which were against teams below us, suggest happen we are *that* bad, especially as we could barely muster a shot on target in any of them.
Now, neither @deipnosophist nor myself have tipped us for relegation.
We are merely pointing out that it takes a certain kind of complacency for any of our fans to dismiss the notion we cannot possibly be dragged back into the mix in such cavalier fashion and with such certainty.
Because we sure as heck can.
Especially as such complacency is based on nowt more substantial than the perceived shortcomings of other teams.

He scored the goal of the group stages for the last 2 seasons. Last year's was better imo.

He wants the move. Maybe he's not goin to say it publicly but his actions tell a different story.
I've been banging the drum about this for weeks but I'll have another go. We're not talking about 'perceived' shortcomings here, we're talking about actual shortcomings. There is a league table which allows us to measure our performance against that of other teams. That table suggests that there have been 11 teams worse than us over the course of the season, and even over the Christmas period you mention, there have been 7 teams with worse form. How "bad" do we need to be?
