I am a Beşiktaş fan. We know both Sandro and Niasse. Once Niasse played in Turkish league. Believe that we are not so willing to send Cenk. Cos neither sandro nor niasse can be a Cenk Tosun. He is an extraordinary finisher. But we need money and we sold Demba Ba, Jose Sosa and our some other good player in that way. Don't speak before you watch him in Guddison Park. Maybe he is not an Aguero or Lukaku bu he is not a Niasse too. You gave Niasse 18m if I dont remember wrong

I wouldn't use Niasse as a measure for anything. Sandro could bag goals in La Liga, but he's not a true CF.

We clearly need a striker though. That being said, if he's not at least going to come close to replicating what Lukaku did for us, we should look elsewhere. Dembele has more upside than Tosun. Aboubkar has scored in the CL. There are others out there that could do the job.

As a besiktas fan and consistent epl follower, ive never said that Cenk Tosun will be the new lukaku for everton or top scorer in the prem i know how difficult to adapt pl , I thought Gokhan Tore will do a big impact for west ham because he was fast and strong, he also knew bilic so that was an advantage. But then i really shocked about his flop. So i completely understand why you think he is a risk. Just hoping it works this time. Because we also need a good reputation in europe about growing some quality players. Turkish teams have a real issues about developing footballers.

Just read a couple of his tweets, he starts off as its laughable that Cenk would join Everton, to sack his agent and he's only moving to give Besiktas a transfer fee, I bet he's not moving for less wages though so maybe it's not all just for Besiktas after all

I agree. Most of us have never heard of this lad so we have absolutely no opinion of him. We all wanted a striker bought and here you go, new striker with champions league experience and is only 26. Not sure we can ask for more tbh.

Would we all prefer paying 60 million for one goal benteke who failed at the kopites? 30 million for Carroll who failed at the kopites? Welbeck or sturrudge who fail to keep fit and don't have the best goal scoring record for the past few years?

Or how about 35 million for a Mexican striker who can't make his current team?

Or sign nobody but enjoy reading stories how we almost signed cavani, or insert wouldn't look twice at us striker?

Besiktas club has a reputation as having some football culture, best stadium,best fans and best neighborhood in turkey. But True, they dominated turkish football in 2000s, also Besiktas dominated in 80s , and now they are back to great days, dominating tr football for like 3 years.
