I agree. Most of us have never heard of this lad so we have absolutely no opinion of him. We all wanted a striker bought and here you go, new striker with champions league experience and is only 26. Not sure we can ask for more tbh.

Would we all prefer paying 60 million for one goal benteke who failed at the kopites? 30 million for Carroll who failed at the kopites? Welbeck or sturrudge who fail to keep fit and don't have the best goal scoring record for the past few years?

Or how about 35 million for a Mexican striker who can't make his current team?

Or sign nobody but enjoy reading stories how we almost signed cavani, or insert wouldn't look twice at us striker?

I guess so, this is more related to eastern culture imo not only Turks. But it is what it is and if Cenk really moves to EFC then prepare for lots of new Turkish members on this forum. strange.. i always found the turkish people to be rude, violent, racist and thinks that a man has the right to rape woman. Of course I'm not saying that all turkish people are like that, but I've found their culture in general are a bit like that.

The Turks I know are good people. Very friendly and loyal. Pretty direct and to the point so you know where you stand, but then not so different from Poles, Germans and Dutch folk I know in that regard.

Even an average striker with a 1 in 2 ratio could be the difference between 10 and Europe. Not to mention the fact he will be playing with Rooney and Sigurdsson, two of the best providers consistently in the league.

Get him in, give him a go.
