Well that sounds a lot betterhis name is pronounced like Janck Taosoun. And his nickname is Tosun Pasha.

Agreed. It seems like in the last two years every second post on here has been one of yours.
Big Sam “We've agreed a deal and are at the stage of personal terms. we might be able to get him registered in time to play in the cup."
..there’s a stereotypical view of Allardyce’s tactics but he’s primarily been involved in keeping teams who are desperately struggling in the league. He’s been a miracle worker so far with this group of players and says the right things about making us more expansive. Only time will tell if he can make that happen but I believe it’s something he wants to do.
Are you sure Allardyce will stick to those tactics, might be a big change.
I bet there's a part of you willing us to get beat so you can continue with your cry arsingCenk this is what getting beat by Liverpool looks like lol
Can't help it, man. Been writing it forever. As an American. But duly noted.
And strangely, site engagement and new accounts have also risen sharply in that time.
I'd say coincidental, but then I am very modest and smart.

First of all, I should preface this by saying I'm happy the club has addressed the striker issue early in the window and appear to have splashed the cash in order to make it happen. If only they had done this during the summer...
I have mixed feelings on this transfer. By all accounts the lad is a good player - but then so were Klassen and Sandro. They've certainly struggled this season to fit into the squad and who is to say this lad won't be any different?
It could be that (like the aforementioned summer signings) Tosun will need at least until the start of next season to hit the same form he's currently in for Besiktas and that currently won't do us any good.
Or, alternatively, his skills, physicality and experience could boost the squad and provide the threat of the unknown as other teams will have no doubt prepared tactically for our woeful attack.
Either way, I'm encouraged by the transfer and won't write the fellow off (same as Sandro and Klassen) based on what he offers this season.
As a footnote, I know lots of people talk about Premier League Proven but realistically who were our options in that department?
Benteke? A shell of the former player he was.
Batshuayi? Hardly premier league proven - just a more exciting name given his supposed potential and the fact he's deemed good enough for Chelsea's bench.
Slimani? Been with Leicester for long enough now and hasn't exactly set the league on fire.
Just because they already have played in the Premier League doesn't automatically mean they're better than Tosun, especially when Tosun hasn't even signed for us let alone kicked a ball for us.
