Am i allowed to mention the mercedes C63 AMG ? Dream car that i will probably never own, right now im driving a 2.2 2005 C-Class, lovely cars but cost a fortune to maintain

Do you not have a local Merc specialist who would be much cheaper than a dealer?
Chances are they'd still be very costly, Mercs are usually like that, and, in my opinion/experience, the C-Class always has small problems which turn out to be costly/bigger when gotten looked at.
Good car though...

I have a 2009 R171 SLK 200, great car but the ride on our poor roads. Because I have big wheels, low profile tyres and AMG suspension it is like having wooden wheels. But I love the car.

What I'm saying is, "poor roads" in the UK are something I've not yet seen or believe. When my ex arrived in Burgas the first thing she said are "why are your roads made of bits of other road?!", because of all the patchwork.

Oh mate, my car would hate those roads as I would. I feel sorry for you. Where is that exactly so I can avoid it for a holiday!

Bunch of random roads.
It's overall not THAT bad on main roads - if there's patchwork it's even and all that. No idea where the first 2 are from, but the third one is near my town - the road towards the Turkish border lol but it's been fixed up and re-done now so it's good. In general though that's a sight you COULD see anywhere in Eastern Europe, as I'm confident @admirschleck can confirm!
