Carra the clown to get the push?

Cannot believe anyone would support Sky ever using carragher again. It’s not like there’s not a hundred ex players who could slot into the role. It’s not like he’s even any good at it! He’s an embarrassment to the city with the nonsense he comes out with.

He’s been caught on camera showing what a lowlife sh1thouse scum he is. If Sky use him again, they’re just showing a complete lack of standards. Hopefully Gillette & others will pull their adverts. They won’t want to be associated with that.

Still shocked by all this. I wish they'd ask Jamie the question that's been on my mind since it happened. What happened to the good old kopite response when you've just lost and realise you're not as great as you all think you are by simply rolling down the window and shouting 'five times'. It wouldn't have created any of this fuss.

I was out last night so I've only just seen his interview with Sky News, well nobody can accuse them of holding back I certainly wouldn't want to take an open pay packet home to her.

I would be surprised if he would allow himself to be questioned like that by his own employers if he thought he was going to lose his job at the end of it, but I don't really see how they can continue to employ him after that whether it was 'A moment of madness' or not.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it previously but technically spitting is assault so the police could have been involved for that as well as the driving offences.

"Jamie, we'll see how this goes, if it blows over we'll carry on but if it gains traction we're letting you go."

... and off to do his public mea culpa Carra-lar goes.

It's transparently obvious that he has no remorse and is simply trying to cling on to his job. The decision should have been obvious in many ways - the decision to resign on his part if he had any integrity whatsoever, and the decision to sack him if he didn't for Sky.

He's a public figure. I mean seriously, if Theresa May walked out of Downing Street and gobbed in the nearest kids face, she'd be gone inside 5 minutes. Sure, there's differences, but they're both still public figures who are exposed to millions and, as such, are role models. The instant footage was replayed over news channels of him spitting in a kids face, from a car, not watching the road, not wearing a seatbelt... how's he still in a bloody job?

Just a thought people.
Can Klopp not get the VAR to examine this footage?
There's always a chance he didn't actually intend to spit, maybe no contact was made or perhaps it wasn't even him driving. Maybe even something was said that wasn't heard by the dad or his girl.
It must be worth a try, especially if ultimately the decision is made in his favour.

seen a tweet before from a bbc journalist saying he hopes it doesnt marr carraghers career etc

surely hes got to realise it will though, Ryan giggs the wonderful footballer goes hand in hand with ryan giggs the sister in law gooser

same for terry the rock at centre half as terry the racist

it will be no different for carragher no matter how much his journalist pals try and stop it
