Mate this is ludicrous from you here. He gets free pass the past few weeks then does he? It's not being fickle, it's holding a manager who's earning £100k+ to account on why he's not been able to get a tune out of this team for the past 4 weeks.

We all know who our manager has managed before. So please don't remind me. This is now Everton. And that has been awful since Richarlson has been out. Never going to win much with Siggy.....Bernard and Iwobi. Why can't Gordon and Nkounkou not even make the bench?
Awful football. And equally awful decisions from our manager in recent weeks. Don Carlo would be better off when he doesn't have Richarlson available handing over the reins to Duncan Ferguson. Maybe at least see some passion. And yes I know that that is not how things work. But what has worked in recent weeks? Nothing. A complete and utter big nothing.

Shocking display again and Carlo must shoulder some of the blame. His tactics the last 3 matches have been woeful. We play like Richarlison is Messi, and without him it's impossible to win. His spat with Gordon is unprofessional and not helping the team. The sanctioning of Kean leaving with no replacement is looking more and more stupid as the games go on.
Dom was never going to score every game and we would inevitably need a different option when it wasnt working for him, the current help is Tosun who is abysmal and shouldn't even be near the squad. We have lost all momentum from our good start. Very disappointed going into the international break

It's the problem with building things up too much and the particularly excitable anxiety ridden impatient posters that spam every thread
We were atrocious last season. Really really bad.
We bought some players and had a good start. Playing decent but also got the rub of the green in some games. Some wins where you could say it could've gone another way.
People suddenly start talking about what we need to do to have a go at Top 4........insanity. memories of what most of these players in the past have served up wiped away by a couple of signings and a couple of wins
Then we have some injuries/suspensions to all our key players and the players who previously have regularly played badly play bad again. Quelle surprise
Then suddenly the manager and our undoubtedly star player have to be questioned and the other new signings are a worry.
It's ridiculous in my opinion
People were in the depths of despair with how crap we have been over the last few seasons. We now have some signs of recovery and certain fans can't show any patience or handle some poor performances or poor runs along the way. You'd have taken our current situation every time if offered it at most stages since Martinez first season.

To a point. But Bernard played really well today and has a good connection with Digne. All our attacks today came down the left.
The problem is still the midfield. Gomes is inconsistent...but we've no one at his level to replace him. Someone to link attack or keep the ball
