he mentioned that financial backing is in place but apparently according to some we won’t be buying anyone and will have to sell our best players because of FFP. Maybe they know more than Ancelloti and Brands

If FFP was this massive issue, why didnt they just sell Richarlinson in January, getting up to 100m and essentially get rid of the problem? It makes little sense.

All signs point to big opportunity...we somehow just need to navigate FFP.

Lots of dross out of contract in 2020/2021/2022 and if we can build u23s up over those 2 more years then we could be looking really very strong for 22/23 season.

Ive given up hope with our trash this year. small bright spot is that alot of the wasters are OOC in 12 months time and FFP could be eased. Assuming Walcott, Sandro, Bolasie, Scheids and Besic leave thats a like in the ball park of half a mil wages saved should immensely help the finances.
I love your thinking here ,save all that money .What do you think we can use to pay any new players?

He is just class! perhaps the best manager we could have hoped for. If he cannot get performances out of the players then who can. Anyone who remains a dud under him needs to move on. He is like a player filter, the good ones will improve dramatically (Richarlison, DCL, Gomes, Holgate) and the dross (Schniederlin, Walcott, Tosun, Delph) will slip through the filter and be sold/released.
I feel hugely encouraged by Carlo and Brands working for us, definitely not amateurs - we went and brought in some of the best in their fields here- now we need to do the same for the playing staff.
