Can we still make it to Europe?

Now we have Tosun and Theo along with a playing well Baines and Coleman, yes, just think if we got those two Jan buys at the start of the season not a window too late, what a blunder that was

I would be astounded if we made Europe. It would honestly be a sad comment on the standard of the current premier league.

Would it attract a better quality of player to come in the summer? I doubt that.

It's a good point mate regarding does it attract a better standard of player, that is debatable as I think they just love the dollar.

What does matter ( imo ) is that I watch Arsenal who must be now licking their lips thinking they have a great chance to get in the back door of the CL and thinking that could have been us.

I like European togger for Everton, it fills another day of the week where we get to watch them. I also think it would be good for the squad to get us into Europe, sort of making a small amends to the utter tosh they've offered up this season.

We'll need 4 points against City and the scruffs to have a chance though

I doubt it. Need Leicester and Burnley to drop points. Any hopes of 7th ended when Burnley completed their double over us this season, imo.
You would think Europa helps to attract better talent, but on the basis of last summer's transfer window that doesn't look to be the case at all.

Hopefully we don't make it to Europe. Not with the current squad, anyway. We just don't have the quality or the numbers to have any chance at success. Europe would just be a distraction from the league and the domestic cups.

Would be nice but need to keep winning and have the foxes and burnley drop points. As soomeone else mentioned Burnely doing the double on us is probably the difference maker.

Depends on whether we have a manager who can look after the squad properly

That includes shifting Mirallas and Sniderlin plus injury prone Besic.

And make Lookman, Vlasic, Klaassen happy and who knows even Sandro.

Meh..

I guess we see what happens, I doubt the next 2 games will help, but they arent important in the grand scale of things, im sure Burnley and Leicester have some hard games left.

Burnley play Leicester at Turf Moor on April 14.

Other games:
BURNLEY: West Brom (a), Watford (a), Chelsea (h), Stoke (a), Brighton (h), Arsenal (a), Bournemouth (h).

LEICESTER: Brighton (a), Newcastle (h), Arsenal (h), Palace (a), Southampton (h), West Ham (h), Tottenham (a).

I don't think we will finish 7th and to be fair with how it's been this season we wouldn't deserve it if we did.

I like going to the European aways but at the same time I'm supposed to be moving out from my parents home this year and if it happens I'll have to delay it for another year!

I can't see us getting any points from the next two games Man City have way too much at stake as they want to win the league v united and we all know what happens with the derby games but if something strange happens and we pick up a few points from those 2 then it might get interesting but as it stands I'm not hopeful.

Last thing we need is another 40 games against azbekestan turnip farmers every week.

We can’t even perform domestically nevermind with a pointless tournament thrown in.
