Someone get me a chair and a glass of waterWe’re only 8 points off the top of the league and I feel like we’ve been very average. Yesterday, though, I actually seen a team with a game plan.
I need a sit down after reading that lol

Looking at the next set of fixtures IF we beat Palace we could go 8thWins on the bounce can give you giant steps up the table...
We are now more than capable of going on a winning streak...
5 win on the bounce & we can make top 4.....
And then some lads would want us to sack Silva and hire JoseI wonder if we beat United would Jose be sacked...
I say what I see. Up until Saturday, with the exception of the Wolves game, we were a mess. I’m still angry that he threw away a cup competition, too.Someone get me a chair and a glass of water

Agree with the first bit. It isn't just a winning mentality either, you could argue that we have leadership issues on the pitch and tend to be at our most vulnerable when we've just conceded. Heads go down and apart from Pickford there doesn't seem to be anybody able to or ready to take on the responsibility of rallying the troops. I really thought Williams was going to bring those leadership qualities but he just treated us as a retirement home. It's not just about individual quality, it's about mentality too, and Arsenal's players have a winning mentality within their squad that we just don't.
Their strikers are way above the level of anything we have in our squad in any position, and their all round team is comfortably better. We won't come close to Arsenal at the end of the season in my opinion.
I wonder if we beat United would Jose be sacked...
Yeah me too. I think we're playing really well away from home and the results haven't reflected how good we've been. We've had some tough games too. It's at home against the "easier" teams that we've under performed.More worried about Palace at home than United tbh.
We all know he'll get sacked just BEFORE we play them, not just after.I wonder if we beat United would Jose be sacked...
20 goal a season strikers are quite rare mate. In the last 5 seasons City and Spurs have had Aguero and Kane. But the other top 6 clubs haven't done as well. Liverpool have managed it twice with Salah and the Rat. Chelsea twice through Costa. Arsenal once with Sanchez. And United haven't had a 20 goal striker at all.Yesterday was a good performence and result, we had the advantage of doing something different yesterday that was probably unexpected. You can on,y do that once.
We have quality players though and getting closer to the right blend combos, the fixtures stiffen shortly.
We have more players to come in and hopefully continue to develop and develop consistency, I would be happy with competing with Wolves and Bourmouth for 7th and the Europa. Anything beyond will need a 20 goal striker.
The home games against Palace, Brighton and Cardiff should be 9 points, no question
