Can we realistically go on a decent run?

And make it 3 out of 3 when we play Palace at home?

Followed by United, Brighton, Chelsea, Cardiff?

That will take us up to December when our next game is the derby.

The home games against Palace, Brighton and Cardiff should be 9 points, no question.

There's no reason why we can't steal something at Old Trafford either.

Looking at the table and you can see how tight the top half is but the top 5 are just much more quality than the rest of us and I can eventually see them breaking away.

Going into December we can really make an attempt at that top 6. Got to continue with Richarlison up top.

Another positive after win thread, sorry

For the first time ever I'd be disappointed if we don't get at least a draw at United. With Mina and Gomes to come in we could have a really exciting team.

Wins on the bounce can give you giant steps up the table...

We are now more than capable of going on a winning streak...

5 win on the bounce & we can make top 4.....

We can. After the break if Gomes and Mina join the squad, then hardly any team will have an easy job against us.

With Gomes, Mina and Coleman available after the break and if we continue to improve from what we seen yesterday, we could defo go on a bit of a run and could actually become quite formidable in the not too distant future. We might even get some results in the difficult away games that are coming up or at least give a very good account of ourselves anyway.

Q) Can we go on a decent run?

A) No, not now you've jinxed it by asking the question.

Why? I get that players and coaches need to take one game at a time as they need to focus on the task at hand. But it seems to me fans can focus on whatever, it makes no difference.

We've got eleven matches to go till the halfway point of the season. Out of those eleven, five will be against top six sides. Realistically if we can win six, maybe draw a couple, out of those eleven games, that to me would be an extremely good return, would give us 32 points at the halfway point, probably 7th/8th-ish place, and a real platform to push on in the second half of the season.

Don't think Arsenal were that much better than us tbh. In fact I would say we were the better team on the day. They have the edge in strikers but apart from that I'd take our squad over theirs. Tottenham are also struggling to juggle CL and PL. Injuries to key players are having an effect. United are struggling too.

I'd say the top 3 are stand out so far this year but after that!!

It's not just about individual quality, it's about mentality too, and Arsenal's players have a winning mentality within their squad that we just don't.

Their strikers are way above the level of anything we have in our squad in any position, and their all round team is comfortably better. We won't come close to Arsenal at the end of the season in my opinion.
