Chelsea had Terry , Czech Drogba Etc
After Arsenal lost Viera ,Adams Bould Etc they lacked leaders and fighters on the pitch.
You have to fight for the right to play good football and win matches

Agreed , think the lower league is where you will find these players. Cahill, Coleman , even arteta and pinear all had set backs in their early careers and had to fight to make it. When someone is treated like a king from the age of 12 it gives them a sense of entitlement , thinking about it , it's a massive problem with youth today and not just in football

I call them the entitled generation
Think they are entitled to things we had to work hard for

Vlasic has the pace and the ability no doubt but I think at the moment he hasn’t got the physical presence to play that role
Barkley was a big lad who could ride a tackle and hold people off
The likes of Matic ,Pogba ,even KDB have that presence and build to do that role.
Vlasic as a No 10 or an inside left ( people under 50 googling inside left as we speak) would be ideal

Yes we also need some power and drive from central areas. A shame Dembele is nearly 31, he would be ideal.
