Can we catch Villa?

If WBA beat Arsenal on Tuesday and city beat Villa on Wednesday then providing we get a win at Blackburn: - We would be in 5th place, 5 points off a champion’s league spot (with villa still to play)

Im getting excited about it now this run in is gonna be one awesome one!!!

Watched it until Carew scored the 2-0. Thought it would all be over. 8 points and Villa will be meeting Man Utd and the RS. Think we still could end up finishing above them.

We gotta beat villa away to do real damage to them as well

Had Arteta been fit I would be much more gungho, and indeed was earlier in the thread, but the advantage remains very much with Villa, whilst our own performances without Arteta are still very much uncertain. Lets see how we get on in the next few games.

I don't think we will catch them. With the points difference and our injuries i think its too much to ask. Then of course theres not forgetting Arsenal.

This is true but how good would it be seeing Wenger squirm as he tries to keep his squad happy, fans happy and board happy playing in the UEFA cup. I cant wait to see it, even if it means Villa finishing above us. Wipe that smug smile off his face!
