Can we catch Villa?

I think, to use the cliche, we have to take one game at a time here. Had Arteta been fit I would be much more gungho, and indeed was earlier in the thread, but the advantage remains very much with Villa, whilst our own performances without Arteta are still very much uncertain. Lets see how we get on in the next few games.

Agreed.

I don't think we will catch them. With the points difference and our injuries i think its too much to ask. Then of course theres not forgetting Arsenal.

It's one of them, I think if we're gonna finish in the top 4 now we need to beat both Villa AND Chelsea away.

So it's a long shot.

if we're to pull some kind of miracle, it'll depend entirely on the moyes boys, lets hope the likes of goslings, rodwell, and hopefully baxter will step up to carry us through the season.

and they still have to play the RS away, also spurs and city will give them a tough time. It is so possible.

Their wheels are coming off and a reality crash looms for them.

We dont really need to catch them now with Manchester United lifting the Carling Cup Trophy. Could we catch them for a chance at Champions League football, quite possibly but are we ready for that competition?? Maybe not just yet!!

This is true but how good would it be seeing Wenger squirm as he tries to keep his squad happy, fans happy and board happy playing in the UEFA cup. I cant wait to see it, even if it means Villa finishing above us. Wipe that smug smile off his face!
