Can we catch Villa?

Whenever he pleases...

The question should be "How far will Moyes be willing to put Rodwell to the test?" We've been blessed to have Arteta commanding the middle and now Moyes needs to find a new engine. Ossie and Pienaar don't have the chops and Cahill is a finisher, not a creator. Even though Moyes has publicly stated that he's going to protect Rodwell and Gosling, Arteta's injury swings the door wide open for an extended run for both.

Hes the natural man for me, the question is can he keep up the standard of performence consistently and handle the level of responsability.

2 pts dropped today
It's lookin more likely now considering the matches remaining for AV and us
city next for them . tough game

Villa drop points, game on for champion’s league?

If WBA beat Arsenal on Tuesday and city beat Villa on Wednesday then providing we get a win at Blackburn: - We would be in 5th place, 5 points off a champion’s league spot (with villa still to play)

Sorry, didn't see this thread before I posted in the other one.

Watched the game until Carew scored the 2-0. Thought it would all be over and turned the telly off. Great to see Stoke hit back though. only 8 pointsleft between us and Villa. They still have to travel to Man Utd and the RS. So there's every possibillity we end up finishing above them.

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!(y)
